We’re back in business

We’re happy to announce that we’re back in business and we are open for full sales and delivery services so we can supply fish and chips shops now that the restrictions of Covid-19 lockdown have been eased.

A brief catch up

Covid-19 meant we had to change a few processes to ensure maximum safety for our employees and of course, our customers. We were still operating a skeleton service so we could cater to the fish and chip shops that were still open during lockdown. This meant our high-quality potatoes could still be distributed when they were needed. It worked very well but we didn’t just stop there.

Just before lockdown, we opened our doors for sales to the general public to help with the demand for potatoes and to ease the pressure of the empty shelves in the supermarkets. The last thing we wanted to see was people unable to source potatoes during these unprecedented times. This was a great success; so much so that we’re going to continue sales to the general public.

We pride ourselves on being able to contribute to the local community so Mitchell Potatoes will continue to source potatoes for general sale on a collection-only basis from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 2 pm. We have put several measures in line with Government guidelines and we will only be accepting contactless payments.
